A Tsoch Payun is used in the process of making roti (flatbread) on an earthen stove (tandoor).
After the flattened dough is cooked on the taew (griddle), it is then transferred on to the Tsoch Payun and kept in front of the fuel feed hole of the stove. This allows for the bread to cook evenly.
Tsoch Payun is alternatively also used as a door for the feed hole of the stove.
The object is in a fair state with no signs of damage.
